Whaaaaaah!!! We are attacked by ALIENS!!! Our only hope is to DIG down and extend our UNDERGROUND BASE to the planet's core and tap into its unlimited energy!!! Waaaaah!!! Whaaaaaaaah!!!
How to play:
- move the cursor with the arrow keys
- press SPACE to dig dirt
- digging advances the game on turn
- digging triggers EVENTS, some are helpful, some are not
- digging yields RESOURCES: energy
and/or ore 
- press SPACE on an empty space to bring up the build menu
- select a unit/building to build: SOLDIERS
, FOOD PLANT 
or RESEARCH FACILITY 
- SOLDIERS cost: 1 energy and 2 ore
- FOOD PLANT cost: 2 energy and 1 ore
- RESEARCH LAB cost: 2 energy
and 2 ore
- SOLDIERS cost: 1 energy
- can't build more SOLDIERS than FOOD PLANTS
- each research lab yields one science point per turn
- press SPACE on a research lab to bring up the UPGRADE menu
- weapons upgrade will reduce the soldier cost by 1 ore
- food upgrade will reduce the food plant cost by 1 energy
- research upgrade will reduce the research facility cost by 1 energy and 1 ore
- the base is burried one level after 4 turns, destroying the top level
- the GAME is OVER if all food plants are destroyed
- the GAME is OVER if all soldiers are dead and an "Alien breach!" event occurs

Loved this one - the concept is clearly hard to pull off with the restrictions - but I really respect how you went for it anyways.

Why is that? What happened?
When I tryed to launch it on PC (Windows), it said "Windows protected your PC" and the only option was "Don't run".
I don't have a windows machine. So I can't test. I'll see what I can do.

This is the classic Windows warning for unknown software.
So, in the window that shows "don't run", there is the "more information" option. Click on that, then click "Run anyway"
